Ancient oriental literature, classical literature, liturgy, ancient and medieval history, and Catalan and European art will be some of the contents that we can rediscover in this summit of leading experts in their fields.
Jesus’ Birth and Childhood. Noncanonical Traditions about Jesus’ Birth and Childhood in Antiquity and the Middle Ages is the theme of this year’s International Symposium. With the aim of working in an interdisciplinary way, several European and international experts will offer a multifaceted vision of the testimonies around the birth and childhood of Jesus of Nazareth in the ancient and medieval world.
The Symposium, which will be held on Barcelona and Vic, is co-organized by Ateneu Universitari Sant Pacià together with the Centre for Advanced Studies “Beyond Canon” from University of Regensburg and the Chair of New Testament Studies and Ancient Christian Apocrypha from Humboldt University Berlin.
